On Anjouan, Ahamada grows up at Mutsamudu Royal Palace, surrounded by his adoptive family’s affection. Stories from his mother and Rahima, the elderly guardian, feed his fascination with the palace’s past. He imagines happiness hidden behind a secret door or at the end of a distant journey. Exploration gradually reveals a treasure much closer. The love he receives, the bonds he builds and each shared stage matter more than the palace’s riches. Ahamada learns that the path itself becomes precious when travelled with curiosity and gratitude.
